
When cutting down 20ft sections at a few different angles you can just spin the saw rather than having to move your material around. The stand is a little flimsy, but I ditched the wheels, screwed it to a sheet of plywood and screwed that onto one of the bigger harbor freight furniture dollies and it's been really nice to have on wheels like that.


The neighbors like it a lot more than the 14" abrasive cutoff saw I was using before. The little harbor freight 4圆 is super quiet which is really nice of you have a hobby shop in a neighborhood garage or shed like me. It has more power, cuts faster and the blades in that 44 7/8 size are more readily available.

That said if buying new, depending on the work you do I'd also consider the corded deep cut Milwaukee portaband. I got mine for 50 on Craigslist and for that price I couldn't have done better.
